With a fraternal welcome at the Benito Juarez Temple, the MW Maiker Filema Duarte Grand Master of Cuba welcomes the MW Porfirio Josafat Flores Cruz Grand Master, Grand Chancellor Miguel Luna Córdoba, Grand Treasurer Ulises Torres Hamdal, reaffirming the indissoluble ties between both Masonic powers.

En el acto protocolario se entrega nombramiento como miembros honorarios de la Gran Logia de Cuba al Gran Maestro Porfirio Josafat Flores y al Diputado Gran Maestro Gabriel Benítez. Con una espléndida disertación se rememora los inicios de fundación de esta Gran Logia en Santiago de Cuba que más tarde con la creación de logias en la Havana se fusionaron floreciendo la Gran Logia Unida de Colón e Isla de Cuba, la cual tuvo la gloria de establecer en Veracruz la primer Gran Logia Regular de México.
In the protocol act, Grand Master Porfirio Josafat Flores and Deputy Grand Master Gabriel Benítez PGM were appointed as honorary members of the Grand Lodge of Cuba. With a splendid dissertation, the beginnings of the founding of this Grand Lodge in Santiago de Cuba are recalled, which later with the creation of lodges in Havana merged, flourishing the United Grand Lodge of Columbus and the Island of Cuba, which had the glory of establishing in Veracruz the first Regular Grand Lodge of Mexico.
Finaliza este magno evento con la asistencia de 17 Delegaciones mexicanas Confederadas, de Brasil, Centro América y Europa despidiéndose los hermanos agradecidos con la hospitalidad cubana.
